Extreme blog makeover!

I became bored with the old blog template. After three years, it was clunky and required a certain level of HTML /CSS knowledge I just didn't have the time or want to learn in great detail.

So back to the drawing board for something easier for me to manage, with headers and links that actually work seamlessly.

With assistance from my blogging friend Calliope (and her awesome header design), BagMomma is new and improved.... and a little more sophisticated. I'm still tweaking, but I am loving the "less is more" design.

Technical note for those using Google Reader

Apparently, Google Reader is not picking up any recent posts (for what reason I've yet to determine).... so...

If you are subscribing to my blog in a reader, please be sure to subscribe to this feed:

http://bagmomma.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

or, alternatively, use the Feedburner feed in my sidebar.

Thanks for your attention, back to the blogging fun!

Blog housekeeping note

I turned comment moderation back on temporarily because of some very unfriendly and ghastly spam. I won't, however, prohibit anonymous comments, because I don't believe in censoring my readers.

In times like these I wish Blogger was a little more flexible with comment deletion after the fact.

Notice for my regular readers

I added some links in the sidebar for easy access if you want to add BagMomma to your reader service such as Google Reader (my favorite) or Bloglines. If you have an active service, just click and it will add the BagMomma feed. I publish FULL feeds by the way ('cause I really dislike partial feeds!).

For my low tech readers (Steph this is you!) I also provided a link to subscribe to my feed to be automatically sent to your email on a daily basis. Easy as pie.

I am also doing some maintenance of the site, so you may see some outages here and there over the next few days... do not worry, I am just tweaking for a better site experience!
